Despite having a contract with Tottenham Hotspur until the summer of 2025, Tanguy Ndombélé is apparently still out of the club’s plans going forward.
The latest claims on his future come from Turkey, where Karar brings some news on Ange Postecoglou’s opinion on the player.
According to the outlet, the manager ‘definitely doesn’t want’ Ndombélé in Tottenham’s squad for the next season, despite him being expected to return from his loan at Galatasaray.
It’s said that even though Pierre-Emile Højbjerg should leave Spurs and leave an open spot in midfield, Postecoglou actually wants another replacement, which is İsmail Yüksek.
The story says Tottenham want the Turkish player to strengthen their squad, with Fenerbahçe demanding €20m for him.
Spurs’ interest in Yüksek has indeed become a subject in the Turkish media, as earlier today, we already covered local reports about that chase.
It was said that Tottenham’s offer for the midfielder could be on the way, with the €20m price tag also getting mentioned in those claims.
With Spurs clearly looking at other options, it seems Ndombélé will once again have to find a new club in the summer, and this time it will likely be on a permanent basis.
