Catalan newspaper Sport want to make it very clear that claims of Barcelona interest in Ander Herrera are absolute nonsense.
Going with the clear headline ‘Barcelona are not interested in Ander Herrera’, under the statement ‘end the rumours’, Sport then say the Manchester United midfielder ‘will not wear the azulgrana’.
To push things home a little more, Sport add there’s ‘nothing further from reality’ than claims Barcelona want Herrera, ‘Ander is not on the wish-list’, and ‘there is not and there won’t be a soap opera over the former Athletic player’.
Seemingly quite annoyed by the suggestion of current Barcelona interest in Herrera, the Catalan newspaper have done everything they can to make it very clear that, according to their information, there’s not even a shred of truth in the potential Manchester United transfer.
So that’s that then.
