Manchester United have been linked with multiple right-wingers in recent days as the club look for a Jadon Sancho alternative. Signing the England international from Borussia Dortmund looks a near impossible task at this stage of the window, so other players have been looked at.
One of those linked the most is Ousmane Dembele, with various reports on the Barcelona player today. Earlier we covered the Spanish newspaper slant, which explained Manchester United could make ‘one last attempt’ to get the player.
Then RMC ruled out the prospect of a move, saying the Frenchman would be staying where he is and concentrating on having a good season at the Camp Nou.
Not so long after, Duncan Castles gave hope to those United fans who want Dembele, by saying Barcelona are now open to a loan for the rest of the season, as long as the player extends his contract with them.
Now Moil Lorens, the Barcelona based journalist who broke the Edinson Cavani to Manchester United story, has stated Dembele truned up at Barcelona’s base today but left before training with the club.
That’s quite intriguing, of course, and this story looks like it will continue until the deadline.
