Samuel Chukwueze has been on fire for Fulham over the past few weeks.
He scored a brace against Manchester City on Tuesday and this came after an assist each against Sunderland and Tottenham.
The AC Milan loanee is a much more regular part of the first-team than he was earlier in the campaign.
It now looks quite likely that Fulham will sign the Nigerian permanently.
Sportmediaset report that the London club are ‘increasingly convinced’ about exercising their option to buy the winger for €30m.
Fulham are said to be pleased with how he has performed, with the player ‘already an idol’ at Craven Cottage this season.
Hope is now rising at Milan because Chukwueze’s sale will give the Rossoneri funds to bolster their squad.
The Nigeria international had failed to make a mark in his two seasons at the San Siro, having joined from Villarreal in 2023.
Marco Silva’s had also tried to sign the 26-year-old last January. There was very little time left to execute the deal back then. Now, everything shows that Fulham’s plan for the playing is working out well. The player’s career is also back on track.
