Agreement in principle reached for Liverpool player – Club ‘one step away’ of concluding deal

Following days of negotiations, AC Milan found an agreement in principle for the signing of Divock Origi, according to reports from Italy.

Tutto Mercato Web writes that the Rossoneri are now ‘one step away’ from concluding a deal for the striker, who’s leaving Liverpool at the end of his contract this summer.

It’s said the parties found an agreement for a four-year contract worth a total of €3.5m, and now only the final details must be sorted.

Following the deal, it’s said club directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will now ‘ask the board’ to proceed with the operation to sign the Liverpool man, and the story claims the next 72 hours will be ‘decisive’ for the signing.

Milan’s talks to sign Origi have not been a secret, as the Italian media have been bringing daily updates on the talks between the Rossoneri and the striker’s staff.

The striker has five goals and three assists in 14 appearances for Liverpool this season, and now expects to have more playing time somewhere else.
