Paris Saint Germain have opened talks for the signing of Everton star Richarlison, according to reports from Brazil.

ESPN Brasil writes that the French side want the forward to replace Kylian Mbappe, who has an ‘imminent’ departure to Real Madrid on the way.

Their story claims that Richarlison’s representatives are currently in Paris negotiating the move. They’re just waiting for Mbappe’s transfer to be completed so the talks can ‘advance and heat up’.

It’s claimed that Everton are aware of the negotiations, even though it isn’t said how much the Toffees are expecting to make with the 24-year-old’s transfer. He’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at 55m.

PSG’s plan to sign Richarlison as Mbappe’s replacement had already been reported by the French media earlier this week. At that time, Sport Witness managed to find out that the Ligue 1 side were still to initiate contact for the signing.

Now with Real Madrid coming strong for the Frenchman, it looks like the club have taking action. That’s if the reports are correct.
