Leeds United are easily the Premier League club which has been linked the most with a move for Rodrigo De Paul. The Whites’ interest goes back over a year, and last summer there were repeat Italian claims about a swoop from Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Back then it looked like a difficult deal for Leeds to pull off, given they were newly promoted. All of that has changed after the Argentine manager guided his club through a great season.

The Italian media continues to link Leeds with the Udinese player, with Liverpool and recently Arsenal also pulled into the picture. Interestingly, there’s strong hints Mino Raiola may now be on the case.

Whilst he’s not the listed agent of De Paul, Raiola is often involved in such negotiations and Tutto Udinese say the businessman has been in Udine this week, and they believe it’s connected to the player’s transfer future.

Atletico Madrid are thought to be leading the chase, although that isn’t being widely reported in Spain, but Leeds United also get a mention.

Andrea Radrizzani, owner of the Yorkshire club, has previously spoken publicly about having connections with Raiola, and that could be key in this transfer tussle.
