Reports in the media suggest Leicester City forward Leonardo Ulloa has submitted a formal transfer request.
With Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri preferring the likes of Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki, Ahmed Musa and Islam Slimani, the Argentine has been struggling to get enough playing time, and could leave in this window.
Ulloa’s agent, Horacio Rossi, has been speaking to Todo Mercado Web, and he’s confirmed the 30-year-old has submitted a transfer request.
Rossi has also slammed Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri and director of football, Jon Rudkin, for their ‘lies’.
He said: “We’re tired of the lies of Claudio Ranieri and Jon Rudkin. He doesn’t want to stay to be the fourth or fifth striker, when he was a major player two years ago and in the conquest for the Premier League.
“Ulloa has made the firm decision to leave Leicester and we have signed a ‘Transfer Request’.”
Ulloa has 18 months left on his current contract at Leicester City, and TMW say Leicester City have rejected the possibility of extending his contract.
La Liga side Deportivo Alavés are reportedly keen on signing Ulloa this month, as more updates are expected in the coming days. The player has also been linked with a move to Turkey in recent days.
