Super-agent Mino Raiola ‘scares’ Juventus by initiating talks with Chelsea and a few other clubs for Matthijs de Ligt.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who say the defender’s situation has not pleased his representative.

The website states the 22-year-old is ‘not a permanent player’ for the Serie A side and for the Netherlands national team. Despite all this, the centre-back is ‘fine’ and has shown no ‘signs of intolerance’ at the Turin club. De Light is aware he represents the future of Juventus.

However, the former Ajax man’s situation, at least with the Old Lady, doesn’t please his representative.

Raiola has different ideas and the agent ‘has had some contacts’ with European clubs, including Thomas Tuchel’s side. There’s no mention whether or not the Blues have an intention to sign the Dutchman.

If they do, the west London club will have a tough task, even with Raiola’s involvement. The report states De Ligt’s agent will ‘not have it easy’ to take him away from Juve next summer due to the €150m release clause.

Calciomercato are of the belief top European clubs will find it difficult to meet that price due to the economic crisis, and the Serie A side have no intention of offering any discount for De Ligt.
