Wilfried Gnonto’s agent Claudio Vigorelli has admitted the forward has options to leave Leeds United in the summer window.
The 19-year-old was one of the positives at Elland Road during the relegation season. He scored four goals and registered four assists from 28 games.
Vigorelli was a guest on Calciomercato.it’s TVPlay, where he stated that there would be clarity over Italy U21 international’s future at Leeds after the U21 European championship.
“I say that we are focused on the national team and the European championship. Then we have to talk to Leeds and we’ll see, but I think there will be options,” he said.
“The Premier League experience has been fantastic for him and I think he wants to continue in that direction. But right now, the focus is on the national team.”
The winger’s performances last season, coupled with Leeds’ return to the Championship, have seen a few clubs identify him as a transfer target.
Earlier this month, Calciomercato stated Gnonto would like to leave Leeds in the ongoing window and AC Milan and Fiorentina are keen on signing him. It was also said the Whites have requested €20m to sanction his sale.
Three days ago, Gianluca Di Marzio reported the Leeds player has ended up on Everton’s radar.
