Costa Rican agent Kurt Morsink has revealed he recently held talks with Manchester City and Nottingham Forest during a trip to England.

The agent has been speaking to ESPN regarding business and the current status of several Costa Rican players, who he represents through the KMR Sports Group.

Two of those are currently in the Premier League, with Brandon Aguilera at Nottingham Forest and midfielder Manfred Ugalde part of the Manchester City Group of football clubs.

The latter is currently turning out for FC Twente but was at the City Football Group owned club FC Lommel until this summer, when he was sold in a €4m deal.

That means Morsink has plenty of business to be doing in England, with this summer having seen negotiations over Ugalde with those in charge at Manchester City, and Aguilera having recently returned to Nottingham Forest from a loan spell at Estoril in Portugal.

He initially joined Nottingham Forest last summer before heading back to Costa Rica with Guanacasteca before then joining the Portuguese side in January this year.

He’s been back in England with Nottingham Forest since the beginning of the summer, and it seems Morsink remains in talks with those in charge at the City Ground regarding him.

“Yes, we are here in Newcastle, we were in London, we met in London with Manchester City, we also took the opportunity to be with Nottingham Forest,” he said.

“We have a good relationship with the City Football Group due to the issue of Alonso, Manfred Ugalde, so we were able to talk with them.

“The truth is that they are clubs, top, elite, in the most important league in the world, they have people with a lot of knowledge, making it simple because they are clear about everything.”
