Miralem Pjanić is expected to move to Barcelona but Juventus will not get Arthur as part of the deal as the Brazilian wants to continue at the Camp Nou.

According to Calciomercato.it, Maurizio Sarri has subsequently asked the Old Lady to sign Jorginho as the Chelsea player is on top of his wish list.

Joao Santos, the player’s agent, has now talked about claims linking the Italy international with a move to Turin.

“He is a complete player. He is in the national team and he is the vice-captain of Chelsea. Over time he has gained experience and is now a real leader,” Santos told Radio Musica Television’s program Taca La Marca, as related by Napoli Magazine.

“If you ask me if Sarri likes Jorginho, I will say yes because of their past [association]. I can’t say anything about the market, since I had no contact [with Juventus].”

Although the former Napoli man has a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2023, he could leave the Blues if there’s a good offer.

“Jorginho still has 3 years of contract and is doing well at Chelsea. However, if an important offer arrives, the negotiation could go through. In this sense, two top European clubs, not Italian, have contacted me,” Santos added.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Blues value the 28-year-old around €45m and the Serie A winners’ plan to sign him would include offering Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro as part of the operation.

The website further adds the two Brazilian players have had contacts with Chelsea in the past and are expected to leave Juve this summer.
