Nottingham Forest have been offered Lecce left back Partick Dorgu by agent Fali Ramadani as he tries to find a move for his client this summer.
That’s according to Area Napoli, who report that Nottingham Forest could compete with Napoli for the 19-year-old defender this summer.
They explain that Dorgu has long been on Napoli’s radar, having earned their attention since joining Lecce from Nordsjaelland U19’s in a €200k deal in July last year.
His agent, Ramadani, has been holding talks with Napoli for a while, playing the role of intermediary once again after negotiating Antonio Conte’s move to the club as their new manager.
He’s already received approval from Lecce to discuss a transfer, even though the player is actually represented by a different agent, Kingsley Ogbodo, who works for CAA Base. Ramadani’s good relationship with Napoli is seen as something that could facilitate things, though.
Ramadani is talking to other clubs than Napoli, though, and has proposed Dorgu to Nottingham Forest and their owner Evangelos Marinakis, who he knows personally.
Nottingham Forest are on the hunt for a left-back as they’ve decided to let Nuno Tavares return to Arsenal and Ramadani has proposed the 19-year-old as a result.
Whether that prompts Nuno Espirito Santo and co into a move remains to be seen but the idea has at least been floated to them.
