Chelsea midfielder Jorginho continues to be linked to a move back to Italy, as the local press never give these rumours a rest.

This time, it was Radio Sportiva who managed to interview the player’s agent João Santos, and asked a few questions about his future.

One of them was about Juventus, as Jorginho could return to playing under Maurizio Sarri, for whom he featured both at Napoli and Chelsea. The representative confirmed the contacts, but claimed it’s the Old Lady who chose not to go for the signing.

“There was an interview with the Bianconeri officials, Maurizio Sarri wanted him back with him after the years in Naples,” João Santos told Radio Sportiva (via Area Napoli).

“He always takes us into consideration. Jorge arrived in the national team thanks also to Sarri. However, the Bianconeri then preferred to focus on other targets.”

Then João Santos talked a little more about Jorginho’s future with the Blues, claiming there’s no big reason for the midfielder to leave the club for now.

“Jorge is doing very well at Chelsea. He has a two and a half year contract, talking about renewal in this period is very difficult, but the Chelsea officials really like Jorge and so we should talk about it next summer. Chelsea are a great team, they win titles or fight to do so.”

Despite being heavily linked with a move back to Italy, Jorginho recently revealed that there were talks for him to join Arsenal last summer. His quotes can be found in an interview he gave to ESPN Brasil last month.
