Boubakary Soumare has always been close to the Leicester City exit door in the last couple of seasons.
That is how things are this summer as well and there’s been widespread interest. His exit is now complicated, with Area Napoli shedding some light on the situation.
Napoli recently sought information about signing the Leicester City man, with the Foxes having opened up to an initial loan exit with the obligation to buy at €14m
Despite that, Napoli are encountering problems in their move. The outlet describes Soumare’s agent as a ‘complicated person to deal with’ and this has slowed down talks.
Because of him, an agreement hasn’t been found between the Partenopei and Leicester.
Napoli are now considering whether to abandon their move or persist with their attempts.
The former Serie A champions had also tried to sign Soumare earlier in the summer, having offered Steve Cooper’s side the chance to sign Jens Cajuste. That move didn’t take off and the situation remains frozen.
