The agent of Aston Villa forward Jaden Philogene has told the Turkish media his client would be interested in a move to Fenerbahce.
The youngster only retuned to the Premier League side in the summer after his brief spell with Hull City.
Speaking to Sabah Spor, Ivo Camacho was asked about Fenerbahce’s links with the Aston Villa player and whether he would be up for a transfer to the Istanbul side.
Camacho revealed an offer has yet to come in for Philogene, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if this did happen. He went on to say the Villa man would want to play for Fenerbahce and it’s a club that competes for silverware.
“We haven’t received a direct official offer yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an interest in this regard. Jaden will want to play for Fenerbahce if there is a good offer. An ambitious team that plays for the championship is always in its goal,” said the attacker’s agent.
There have been recent reports Fenerbahce vice-president Acun Ilıcalı wants to be reunited with Philogene following his spell at Hull City last season.
The Tigers owner gave the 22-year-old the opportunity to make a name for himself and his performances for the Yorkshire side earned him his move back to Aston Villa in the summer.
Since returning to Villa Park, Philogene has made 15 appearances. He’s contracted to the Premier League side until June 2029.
