On Thursday, Bild explained that Liverpool are thinking about signing Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush in the summer. It was also said the striker dreams of making a switch to England and the Reds are ‘hot’ for him.
A fresh report from Bild indicates the Liverpool target has an uncertain future. If he were to leave, the German club would demand for €50m and use the funds to sign his replacement.
Bild’s claim of Liverpool’s desire to sign the Egypt international is relayed by King Fut, who have also gathered comments from Marmoush’s agent, Michael Reschke.
The former Bayern Munich technical director has been speaking to Egyptian Channel One, where he was asked about the recent claims linking his client with a move to England.
When responding to that, the agent hinted a transfer is possible, and that the 25-year-old’s fine displays could encourage interested parties to table offers. The player has scored 15 goals and registered six assists from 32 games this season.
“We have good plans for Marmoush. Marmoush has been delivering outstanding performances recently and a bright future awaits him. He currently has a global market, so we don’t rule out receiving offers from all over the world,” he said.
“Marmoush is greatly loved within Eintracht Frankfurt, so offers are not only expected from within Germany but from all over Europe. This isn’t a strange matter, and we should all expect it because his performance, level, and name have become like gold currency and the energy he possesses on the pitch promotes him.
“He has a completely distinctive style, his eyes are sharp, and I cannot compare him to anyone else. He is a wonderful and special player.”
Marmoush’s contract lasts until 2027, and his agent’s latest comments would come as an encouragement for Liverpool, who are thinking about securing the Egyptian’s services in teh summer.
