Everton owned Henry Onyekuru returned to his best form last weekend, scoring a brace during Galatasaray’s important win against Sivasspor.
After the game, Onyekuru’s agent William D’Avila spoke to Sabah to praise his client and give his the reasons behind the choice of loan move: “I brought Henry to Galatasaray because I see the talent he has. He could be much better. There is no doubt that his favourite position is left winger.”
He added: “That’s where he is the most dangerous. If he plays at left wing at the second half of the season, I can expect him to reach 20 goals for the club.”
The Everton youngster has been in impressive form for Galatasaray since his loan move from the Merseyside club in summer, and there have been recent reports linking him with a move to the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG.
He still has the issue of getting a work permit in England, a problem which has resulted in the Everton sending him out on loan for the past two seasons but one which is getting increasingly easier to solve given his level.
The Nigerian striker has made 20 appearances for Galatasaray in all competitions, scoring 6 goals.
