Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic has interest in England and Germany as he gears up to leave Molineux in the January transfer window.
That’s according to his agent Sasa Empacher, who has confirmed there is interest in his client as Wolves look to move him on.
The striker has returned to full fitness for Wolves this season after suffering a long-term knee injury on the first day of last season but has barely featured for Gary O’Neil this season.
The Wolves boss appears to be unconvinced by the giant striker, only handing him substitute appearances so far despite making an impact when given his chance.
That’s led to speculation he could be moved on in the January window, with the striker keen to be playing regularly so he is fit and firing ahead of Euro 2024 in Germany next summer, where he would be a part of Ralf Rangnick’s Austria squad.
Given it is the winter window a loan deal is likely, and his agent has confirmed that there is interest in his client, while questioning why Wolves aren’t giving him a chance.
“He didn’t play much, but his two goals brought six points, without which Wolverhampton would be just above the relegation zone,” journalist Peter Linden quotes him saying.
“He has worked hard, is fitter than ever before, there are people interested in him both in the Premier League and in the German Bundesliga!”
