The latest reports from Turkey may have put the Galatasaray winger Bruma very close to Tottenham Hotspur, but his agent is now making sure to calm things down for a bit.
First they said that Tottenham would send emissaries to negotiate for the player. Then, it was reported that Bruma turned down an offer to extend his contract because he wanted a Premier League move.
Everything seemed to be working well for the transfer, and that’s when O Jogo had a quick chat with the player’s agent, Cátio Baldé.
Speaking to the newspaper, he said “there were no contacts” regarding a transfer yet.
The agent also added that this is not a one horse race: “Besides Tottenham, there are other English clubs who are very attentive to Bruma.”
Despite taking it easy and not overtly fanning the flames, the agent confirms Tottenham’s interest. So the next developments should be interesting to see.
Bruma has four goals and three assists this season. The claims from Turkey say that the Spurs have already watched him six times, so they should already be pretty aware of what they’d be getting.
