If the Italian media is anything to go by these days, Tottenham want a new right-back, and they are looking at Serie A to find the right man.
This isn’t particularly surprising considering Fabio Paratici is the man in charge of transfers for Spurs and their manager is Italian.
Still, they have Emerson Royal already for the role, but recent reports have suggested the Brazilian isn’t overly appreciated by Antonio Conte.
Therefore, a replacement is being sought, preferably one for now and the future, and they would be looking for a deal similar to the one struck with Udinese last summer for Destiny Udogie.
This is where Wilfried Sings comes in, as the Torino right-back has caught the eye of Tottenham and Conte, with Tuttosport claiming he is a player ‘really liked’ by the Spurs manager.
As for how much the Tottenham target would cost, it’s believed the Italians would ask for something ‘between €10-12m’, which is extremely affordable for a Premier League club.
Whether Spurs make a move in January, however, remains to be seen.
