Italian side A.C Pisa are the latest club to show an interest in Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci, according to claims in Italy.
The Tuscan side recently clinched promotion to Serie B under the guidance of former AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso.
Il Tirreno have claimed Pisa are the latest Italian side to be linked with Bellusci after reports in Italy that Empoli and Ascoli are also keen on the 26-year-old.
Pisa gained promotion from Lega Pro last season, and now need to bring in new players this summer to enable them to compete in Serie B.
Gattuso has highlighted a number of players he would like to bring to Pisa in the next transfer window, and Bellusci is a player they are considering.
However, Pisa will face stiff competition to sign the central defender, especially from Tuscan rivals Empoli.
In recent weeks Bellusci has been linked with a move back to his home country following his disappointing end to last season.
The Italian suffered a loss of form, which saw him dropped from the starting eleven by former Leeds United boss Steve Evans.
Pisa landing Bellusci would be something of coup, but the chance to play in Serie A with Empoli may sway the defender’s decision.
