Following recent rumours regarding the future of Tottenham Hotspur attacker Lucas Moura, the Brazilian media comes up to deny some claims.

In the past few days, it had been said that the 30-year-old could be on his way to Turkey, where he reportedly agreed to a deal with Fenerbahce.

Now as journalist Jorge Nicola covers the situation, he heard that this move isn’t happening.

It was Junior Pedroso, the agent of the Tottenham player, who told him that this story is a ‘lie’.

Nicola completes that by saying there’s ‘absolutely nothing’, with no negotiations going on, and claims he had the ‘impression’ that despite Moura’s wish to stay in Europe, he doesn’t want to move to Turkey.

The journalist says the forward should have more attractive and interesting offers, as he could be signed by a ‘big’ club from Spain or even England.

Moura’s contract with Tottenham expires in the summer, and with him only having 11 appearances for the club this season and no signs of a renewal, his exit as a free agent currently sounds like the most likely scenario.
