Arsenal, Aston Villa and Leicester City are named as suitors for Celtic’s Odsonne Édouard.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed good form this season, scoring 20 goals and registering four assists in all competitions.

His fine displays for the Bhoys have caught the attention of clubs in England and also in Italy.

In his column for TuttoMercatoWeb, Italian journalist Niccolò Ceccarini explains AS Roma have identified the 23-year-old as a forward target.

According to Ceccarini, Paulo Fonseca’s side tried to make an approach for the Celtic attacker in the winter market. Despite the failure to secure his services in January, the Serie A side still have the former Paris Saint-Germain man’s name ‘under observation’.

Roma. however, will face competition from the Gunners, Dean Smith’s side and ‘above all Leicester City’.

That’s the only information Ceccarini shares on Roma and the three Premier League clubs wanting Édouard.

Brendan Rodgers knows the Frenchman first hand, having managed him during his time at Celtic.

Édouard has a contract until 2022 and Celtic could be forced to cash in from his sale in the next market, if he decides against signing an extension.
