There’s a claim in the Spanish media that Girona are closing in on a deal for Aberdeen forward Bojan Miovski, and confident of doing so on their terms.
The La Liga side are looking to bolster their squad ahead of next season’s Champions League and are hoping to get a deal over the line for the North Macedonian.
Spanish journlist Nil Solà reports Girona have reached an agreement with the Aberdeen player over personal terms as transfer talks continue between the two clubs. There are no reports on the length of contract or salary being offered to Miovski.
However, there is a disagreement over his transfer fee with it stated Aberdeen are looking for €7m to part ways with their attacker. Girona on the other hand don’t want to pay such a fee and want the Scottish Premiership side to lower the asking price.
There’s optimism a deal with be agreed, and that Girona can agree a fee they’re happy with but that’s also acceptable to Abderdeen.
Miovski made 56 appearances for the Scottish Premiership club last season, scoring 26 goals. He’s contracted until June 2026.
