According to a claim in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor are showing serious interest in Burnley’s Josh Brownhill.
The Super Lig side have already been linked with his club teammate Wout Weghorst this summer.
Hurriyet have reported on Trabzonspor’s links with Brownhill and say the Super Lig side have reached an agreement with the midfielder’s agent.
It’s claimed the Burnley player, who opened his scoring account in the victory over Luton Town last night, could be interested in the move to Turkey
The Turkish media outlet also report an official offer is being lined up for the 28-year-old and that this will soon be tabled with Burnley.
Sander Berge has also been linked with a move away from Burnley this summer after reports of interest from Fenerbahce. Jose Mourinho is said to be keen to bring in the Norway international, but face competition from Manchester United.
Brownhill made 35 appearances for Burnley last season, scoring four goals. He’s contracted to the Turf Moor club until June 2025 which could put them under pressure to sell in this transfer window or risk losing him on a free transfer next summer.
