Liverpool and Alisson Becker rumours have been around for months and have seen themselves rise and fall. Interest from Anfield in the Brazil goalkeeper has been understandable.
Jurgen Klopp has clearly had a lot of faith in Loris Karius for a long time, preferring him to Simon Mignolet despite there not seeming a big gap between the two goalkeepers.
The Champions League final brought further doubt around Karius, and whilst it was later revealed the German suffered a concussion it would be no surprise if Liverpool are looking for a new number one.
On Monday evening, Terra in Brazil are reporting Liverpool have made a R$285m offer to AS Roma for the goalkeeper. That works out to be £57m.
Terra present this as their own information, they don’t credit any other sources or say it’s come from England, Italy or elsewhere.
That said, Mundo Deportivo in Spain today reported Liverpool have offered €65m for the player, and that figure is obviously close to the one Terra have.
Both articles also say Jurgen Klopp would guarantee the Brazilian a starting spot, although that probably goes without saying.
It would be unusual for Terra to break such a story.
