Chievo Verona defender Fabrizio Cacciatore has been linked with a move to Lazio, according to claims in the Italian media. The full back has been in impressive form for the Flying Donkeys in the past 12 months, and was strongly linked with a move to Leeds United in the last transfer window.
TMW have revealed Cacciatore is back in the sights of Lazio after the Serie A side showed an interest in the 29-year-old in January. The Rome club are looking to bring in a full back before the transfer deadline, and the Italian could be the ideal candidate as he can play on the right and the left.
It’s been claimed Lazio have already approached Chievo with regards to signing Cacciatore, but are likely to find it difficult to the land the player.
During the last window Cacciatore was linked with a move to Leeds United after Cellino travelled to Italy to get a lowdown on the defender.
This was then followed by one of Leeds United’s scouts attending the game between Chievo and Lazio that same month.
