Dundee manager Paul Hartley is expecting possible fresh bids to come in for his star forward Greg Stewart. The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to the Championship throughout the transfer window, with Leeds United and Birmingham City showing a keen interest.
“We expect him to be back on Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully. There are no new bids. Do I expect them? Possibly. I don’t know what will happen. We have rejected a couple of bids. Will they come back in? I don’t know,” said the Dundee boss.
Along with Kane Hemmings, Stewart was one of Dundee’s standout players last season, which brought him to the attention of the likes of Leeds United and Birmingham City.
The attacker has refused to extend his contract beyond next June with Dundee, but the club aren’t prepared to let him leave on the cheap. Dundee will only listen to seven figure offers, and recently rejected a bid from Birmingham City.
