Milliyet claim Everton are interested in signing Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.
The Turkish newspaper say Everton have turned their sights to Ozyakup, after they signed Cenk Tosun from Besiktas earlier this year.
The former Arsenal player will out of contract in the summer and Everton would be able to open talks with regards to a pre-contract agreement
There has been no breakthrough yet over his contract extension and last week it was claimed the Turkish champions will not meet his demands.
The Besiktas captain has fallen out of favour in recent weeks, and has to be content with a place on the bench.
Milliyet also claim Everton will decide on Ozyakup in the summer, and the club’s scouts will follow him until the end of the season.
Ozyakup reportedly wants a move back to England after playing for Arsenal early in his career. The 24 year old came through the Gunners’ youth academy, but never made a Premier League appearance.
