West Ham’s Arthur Masuaku has had quite a difficult international break, report L’Equipe in their Tuesday edition.

The French newspaper report that several players have become so annoyed it led them yesterday to pack up their stuff and leave the national selection.

Masuaku has ‘packed his bag’s following a difficult plane trip with DR Congo, and then having training interrupted by technical difficulties.

Floodlights went out twice during training and it sounds like it was the final final straw for West Ham’s Masuaku.

L’Equipe report the fullback was joined by several teammates in leaving the national squad, and those included Gael Kakuta, Jordan Ikoko and Paul-José Mpoku.

From a West Ham perspective, it’s better to get their player back early for this issue rather than it being down to injury.

With several players pulling out, the perception is turning out badly for the country rather than those footballers involved.
