Galatasaray have informed the Board Exchange Commission they sold Badou Ndiaye to Stoke City for €16m.
The Senegalese midfielder joined Stoke City on deadline day, and he’s delighted to finally achieve his dream move to the Premier League.
Milliyet have quoted the information Galatasaray’s sent to KAP with regards to the Ndiaye deal: “Our club received €16m for Badou Ndiaye. Also, Stoke City Football club owe our company 15% of any profit on the next transfer of Badou Ndiaye.”
Ndiaye was linked with a move to Stoke City throughout the last transfer window, and in the past week the Premier League side stepped up their pursuit of the player.
Despite reported late interest from Inter Milan, Stoke City were able to get the deal over the line yesterday, after Ndiaye passed his medical.
The Senegal international’s move to England has also made him the most expensive player to leave Galatasaray, after last summer Cim Bom sold Bruma to Red Bull Leipzig for €14m.
