Sevilla finally came calling for Sandro Ramirez.
The Everton striker had spent weeks as the club’s back-up striker option. With Sevilla having a big preference for Michy Bathsuayi, Sandro had to wait until the Spanish club had completely given up on that track.
That time came last night, reports Estadio Deportivo, and Sandro agreed to move to Sevilla on loan for the rest of the season.
The only thing now standing in the way of the move is Sandro passing a medical, but there’s not expected to be any problems in that regard.
Sevilla have released a statement on the move and there’s no mention of a purchase option, leading Estadio Deportivo to state it’s a dry loan. That will see Sandro return to Everton at the end of the season, unless Sevilla can agree a price for him when the time comes.
The Former Barcelona player still has hopes of getting to the World Cup with Spain and saw a move to Sevilla as his last chance.
