According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas have held transfer talks with Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace over the sale of Dusko Tosic.
Yesterday it was reported Celtic have tabled an official offer for the Serbian, but the Scottish Premiership side will have to increase their initial bid.
Gunes have reported on the latest developments over the future of Tosic, and it’s been revealed Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in London. The Besiktas chief has reportedly held discussions with Tottenham and Crystal Palace, and will shake hands on a deal for the right offer.
The 32 year old is expected to leave the Turkish champions this window after the arrival of Domagoj Vida, and Tosic could sign for Tottenham, Crystal Palace or Celtic, if any of these clubs are prepared to meet his €4m valuation.
It was claimed Celtic were leading the way for Tosic, as Brendan Rodgers looks to bring in a replacement for Erik Sviatchenko.
Tosic has been linked with Celtic for several weeks, but if is true the Hoops could face stiff competition from Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
