Brazilian star Oscar had a difficult last season at Chelsea, and he managed just 3 goals in the Premier League. Rumours in the Italian media link Oscar with a move away from Chelsea this summer.
Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio contacted Chelsea to know the availability of the Brazilian star.
Calciomercato say Oscar is not untouchable at Chelsea any longer, and his agent, Kia Joorabchian, had approached Inter to plot a transfer strategy after the arrival of new Chinese owners, the Suning group.
However, Inter are worried about the costs involved to sign Oscar, as Chelsea could ask as much as €35m for the Brazilian, and even that may be a modest estimate from Italy.
Inter have taken note of the situation, and will now evaluate if a deal is feasible. It is reported Oscar isn’t an alternative to Antonio Candreva, so it remains to be seen if Inter will make such a huge financial commitment for him.
