IF Brommapojkarna youngster Axel Wallenborg has confirmed to the Swedish media he’ll have another trial with Everton next month, and that’s he’s ready for a move to Goodison Park.
The youngster was previously linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers after he had a trial with the Championship side last year.
Speaking to Fotboll Direkt, Wallenborg was asked if he would be returning to England anytime soon to have another trial with Everton: “Yes, it seems to be the case. They want to see me in a match (Everton), so I’m all set to go there (December). Then we’ll see how it goes. I feel completely ready to go over there permanently.”
Last week Wallenborg was put through his paces by Everton after having initial trials with the Premier League side in the spring and then the summer. The left back turns sixteen next month meaning Everton can offer him a professional contract.
The 15 year old was linked with Wolves last year, and it’s likely the English side will look to bring in more Swedish talent in the future after Gary Goodchild was brought in last month.
The former Arsenal player will head up Wolves’ scouting network in Scandinavia, with 20 years experience working in Sweden.
However, it seems Everton are leading the way to sign Wallenborg, as long as he impresses the Merseyside club next month.
