Napoli are keen on signing a couple of midfielders this summer, and have been linked to Piotr Zielinski and Hector Herrera.
The Serie A club are said to be close to signing the Udinese midfielder, after a meeting that took place between Aurelio De Laurentiis and Giampaolo Pozzo on Wednesday night.
Premier League side Watford are also owned by the Pozzo family, and according to Italian website CalcioNews24, a deal for Napoli defender Juan Camilo Zuniga was also agreed.
It is reported Walter Mazzarri is keen on signing the Colombian, who could be playing in the Premier League next year.
The 30-year-old made just 9 appearances for Napoli this season, and it seems they don’t need him anyway.
A few Serie A players have been linked to Watford since the arrival of Mazzarri, with most of them being fringe players at their respective clubs.
Watford have the money, like most Premier League sides, so maybe they should be looking higher than signing fringe players from Serie A clubs.
