‘James, the first’
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo has a story on Real Madrid departures today, saying that after the Colombian, two other stars are set to leave the Spanish champions.
These would be Alvaro Morata and Danilo, and their possible destination is the same: Chelsea FC. At least if Real Madrid accept to lower their demands.
They claim that Chelsea are willing to pay up to €100m for the duo, even though the Galacticos idea is to make more than €120m from the sales.
Both players have travelled to Los Angeles ahead of the club’s preseason, but would have no problems in leaving the squad if moving to other league.
Morata and Danilo were close to signing for other clubs, but both deals were stopped because of Real Madrid’s demands. Manchester United couldn’t find a deal for the attacker and ended up going for Romelu Lukaku instead, and although Danilo had a deal with Juventus, the Old Lady didn’t offer Madrid enough money.
Recent reliable claims from Brazil and Spain have been said that the right-back is set to move on a €30m deal. It makes it sound like Chelsea would want Morata for around €70m then.
After all that tough game with Man United, would Real Madrid make him that cheaper for Chelsea?
