Despite rumblings that he wanted to stay at the Etihad next season, it seems best for everyone involved if Wilfried Bony and Manchester City part ways this summer in some shape or form.
This isn’t exactly news in itself, as both Galatasaray and Trabzonspor have both been linked with the Manchester City striker over the past couple of months, but the two new suitors are.
According to FootMercato in France, both Fenerbahçe and Besiktas are now also taking a look at Wilfried Bony, and are both ‘ready to make an offer’ for the player.
Even though the forward would prefer to stay in England, the French website explain the offers from the two sides are ‘making him think twice’, and will take his time before making a decision.
Expected to take up preseason training with Manchester City on the 10th of July if he hasn’t found a club before then, Bony certainly won’t be in Pep Guardiola’s plans for the upcoming campaign.
Where he goes is entirely up to him, and whoever meets Manchester City’s reported €20m demands for him.
