Leeds United’s new signing Mateusz Klich has told the Dutch media he’s said his goodbyes to his former FC Twente teammates.
Speaking to Twente Fans, Klich was asked if he’s spoken to any of the Twente players and whether he would return to the Netherlands to visit:
“I really miss my teammates at Twente, especially Mokotjo. I will speak to them personally. If I get a chance I will return to the Grolsch Veste again, but I’m not sure when,” said the Leeds United player.
Leeds Untied had been linked with Klich in the past few weeks, and after one failed bid they finally landed the 27-year-old. The player has signed a three-year contract with the club, with Dutch reports Leeds United have paid £1.3m to Twente.
Klich became Thomas Christiansen’s first signing since the Dane was installed as the new manager of Leeds United, and it’s expected more will players will be brought in quickly.
