IF Brommapojkarna’s Alex Timossi Andersson has ended up on Stoke City’s agenda for the winter market, according to a report from Sweden.
Operating mainly as a right wing-back and at times as a winger, he managed four goals and an assist from 29 league games last year.
The 22-year-old’s performances and versatility would have caught Stoke City’s attention and Expressen state the Championship side ‘want to sign him’ in January.
Expressen make it clear they are not aware whether Mark Robins’ side have made an offer to the Swedish club.
They add the Swede, for his part, is ‘on his way out’ of Brommapojkarna and this should certainly please the Potters, who are keen on securing his services in this window.
Alex Timossi Andersson joined Bayern Munich’s reserve team in 2020 and after going out on loan twice, he left them for Heerenveen in the summer of 2022. A year later, the player returned to Sweden to join Brommapojkarna.
The versatile player is expected to leave in this window and Stoke City could be his next destination. The report makes no mention of the fee requested by the Swedish club.
