Four days ago, we covered claims from Italy which stated Nottingham Forest and Fulham are looking at Juventus’ Douglas Luiz for the winter market.

At the weekend, Corriere dello Sport explained it’ll be difficult for Nottingham Forest or Fulham to pay €45m for the midfielder in January.

TuttoMercatoWeb mention Nottingham Forest and Fulham when covering the latest on the 26-year-old.

He struggled since joining the Serie A side from Aston Villa last summer, making three league starts so far.

The Brazil international’s agent, Gianmaria Montesano, has arrived in Italy to be with his client in Turin in the coming days and TMW aren’t aware if the representative will meet Juve technical director Cristiano Giuntoli.

Luiz has ‘no intention’ of joining Nottingham Forest or Fulham and if he were to leave the Old Lady, it has to be for a top club like Manchester City or Manchester United. The report states neither Nuno Espírito Santo’s side or the London club convince him.

Tutto Juve are also reporting Montesano is in Italy and will soon meet the former Aston Villa man in Turin.

They add Luiz has interest in the Premier League from Nottingham Forest, Fulham and others, but he would ‘not have the intention’ of joining either of the former two, as he doesn’t want to ‘lower his level’.

As a reminder, Nottingham Forest are third in the Premier League, eight points ahead of Luiz’s former club Aston Villa, and Juventus, where Douglas Luiz is struggling to have any prominence at all, are fifth in Serie A.
