There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Hull City should soon complete the transfer of Fenerbahce midfielder Lincoln.

Yesterday there were reports the Championship side were looking to get a deal over the line for the 26-year-old.

NTV Spor report on the latest developments regarding Hull City’s pursuit for the Brazilian, and they say it’s ‘only a matter of time’ before he’s announced as their player.

As reported yesterday, Hull City owner Acun Ilicali is working on a deal to bring Lincoln to the MKM Stadium, which should be a formality given he’s also the vice-president of Fenerbahce. Ilicali will be keen to bolster their squad following their struggles this season.

Lincoln will be arriving on a loan deal until the end of the season after failing to get games under Jose Mourinho. There are still no reports if his move would be made permanent during the summer transfer window.

The Fener player’s primary position is an attacking midfielder, but he can also play on the wings. He’s contracted to the Super Lig side until June 2026.
