Napoli are planing to part ways with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and PSG looks the likeliest destination. A stream of Premier League clubs are also being linked with the exciting Georgian, but there doesn’t appear to be anything very concrete in that regard.
According to multiple reports from Italy, Napoli have been hoping for around €80m, although they may have to settle for less in the end.
Antonio Conte always wants additions and expected his squad improving this month regardless of what happens with Kvaratskhelia. The potential extra money just means more targets, and that’s where Tottenham Hotspur come in.
Should Conte get the chance, it’s being reported he’d like a move to sign Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski. Friday’s edition of Corriere del Mezzogiorno, based in the Naples region, reports that the name of ‘Conte’s protégé’ has emerged in the past few hours for Napoli.
They’d be looking at a loan with a purchase option from Tottenham.
Of course, this all sounds like pie in the sky.
The 24-year-old has played 30 times for Tottenham so far this season, scoring seven goals and adding eight assists. He has a contract with Spurs lasting until 2028 and there’s absolutely no reason they’d consider such a proposal.
