According to a claim in the Turkish media, Hull City are on the verge of signing Fenerbahce midfielder Lincoln.

The Championship side will be looking to bolster their squad during this transfer window following their struggles in the league this season.

Ajansspor report this afternoon that Hull City are closing in on the Brazilian and that owner Acun Ilicali is working on the deal. Ilicali is also the vice-president of Fenerbahce and subsequently this deal could be made official soon.

It’s claimed Hull City will loan Lincoln until the end of the season, but there are no reports if they will make his move permanent in the summer. The 26-year-old’s primary position is an attacking midfielder but he can also play on the wings.

Due to Ilicali’s ties with the Istanbul side, Lincoln will be another player to arrive at Hull City from the Yellow Canaries in recent years, along with Ozan Tufan, Dimitris Pelkas, Joao Pedro and Bora Aydınlık.

Lincoln has yet to make an appearance under Jose Mourinho this season and is contracted to the Super Lig giants until June 2026.
