Brentford’s Mads Roerslev has been linked with an exit from the club in the ongoing January transfer window.
Udinese are interested in signing the full-back, whose exit could leave the Bees looking for a replacement.
It seems as if Brentford could now indeed go back in for Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode, who was of interest to them in the summer transfer window.
ViolaNews have reported that the London club are negotiating Roerslev’s exit and as a result, they are ‘back on the attack’ for the 20-year-old.
The outlet mention La Viola had rejected Brentford’s summer offer for the defender but they are now much more open to a sale. The report indicates that Thomas Frank side’s chase for the Italian could heat up soon as they look to improve at right-back.
The youngster has played only five times in Serie A this season and his game time in Florence has gone down. As a result, Brentford are not the only club interested.
Brighton and Hove Albion have also been credited with interest in the past but the Bees’ need for a right-back seems more urgent, with Aaron Hickey also out injured.
