Juventus have been linked with a move for Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap over the past two weeks.

The Italian side scouted the striker in Ipswich Town’s last Premier League game against Manchester United. Delap made a mark in that tie, even if he couldn’t take his goalscoring tally for the season beyond six.

Whether the player impressed Juventus scouts during the game or not remains to be seen, but the talk about him in Italy refuses to go away.

Talent scout Michele Fratini spoke to the Youtube channel of Calciomercato.it and offered information Delap, stating that the Old Lady should consider signing the English striker soon.

He said: “Juve should take him. He is a striker who makes the department by himself. He also relies on the midfield and scores a lot, then he has a great physical structure.

“I am convinced he will be the future Harry Kane.”

The report also mentions that Juve can be helped by the fact that 21-year-old Delap is represented by CAA Stellar Group, who also manage both Nicolo Fagioli and defender Bremer.

Having said that, it has been previously suggested that Ipswich Town will want a pretty high figure to let the ex-Manchester City youngster leave.

That price tag could be beyond Juve’s range and this can help Kieran McKenna’s side in keeping hold of their talent for a longer amount of time.
