Manchester United are considering signing Victor Osimhen in the winter market.

The striker has been on loan at Galatasaray since the summer window and managed eight goals and five assists this season.

Area Napoli state the 25-year-old’s fine displays for the Turkish club have seen several clubs take ‘concrete interest’ in him.

The report focuses on Manchester United, and journalist Gerardo Fasano claims Osimhen is a ‘credible option’ for the Red Devils.

Il Mattino, relayed by Area Napoli, provide the latest on the Premier League side wanting the Nigeria international in January. It’s claimed Ruben Amorim’s side are ready to make an offer that will include money plus ‘€40m+’ Joshua Zirzkee.

The Netherlands international arrived at Old Trafford from Bologna in the summer window, but has struggled to impress. He’s been linked with a move away from the English club.

Manchester United are ready to use him as part of the deal to sign Osimhen. At this point in time, the option of having Zirkzee as part of the deal isn’t well received by Napoli.

TuttoMercatoWeb have also relayed Il Mattino’s claim, stating that Osimhen has a €45m release clause for January. He also earns €12m net per year, making it difficult for Napoli to find a club who can afford him.
