Manchester United and Tottenham are sending scouts to watch tonight’s Europa League clash between FC Midtjylland and Eintracht Frankfurt and will be joined by Leicester City.
That’s according to Tipsbladet, who report that Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester will all have representatives in Central Jutland to watch the European clash.
They explain that several clubs from Europe are sending scouts to watch the game between the two sides, with Paris Saint German and Barcelona also keen to see proceedings.
Manchester United and Tottenham, plus a ‘number of other good names’ including Leicester, to check out the talent.
It’s not the first-time clubs have made the trip, with some spotted in Herning to watch the likes of Dario Osorio, Franculino and Oliver Sørensen. Those three are seen as the ‘good bets’ to leave Midtjylland for ‘large sums of millions’.
There’s also Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush to keep an eye on, as he shines this season and looks to add to his 14 goals and 10 assists in 17 games this season.
Tipsbladet report that Manchester United looking at forwards such as him or Hugo Ekitiké wouldn’t be a surprise, with it believed Ruben Amorim wants to add to his forward options.
They don’t say the same for Leicester and Tottenham, but they’ll be in attendance either way alongside an apparent full box of scouts from across Europe.
