Joshua Zirkzee has struggled at Manchester United since joining them from Bologna in the summer window. The striker has scored one goal, and it came in the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over in Fulham in August.

The Netherlands international is behind Rasmus Højlund and last week, La Stampa stated he isn’t happy with his situation at Old Trafford. Therefore, he has asked his agent to find a new club for him in January and would favour a move to Juventus.

On Tuesday, Gazzetta dello Sport had a frontpage report stating that the Old Lady made contact to sign Zirkzee in January.

He came off the bench in Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge against Ipswich Town at the weekend.

Tuttosport now state the Serie A side are closely following the 23-year-old’s situation at Manchester United, especially his relationship with his new manager.

If Zirkzee were to continue as a substitute, he could request to change clubs in the winter market. The Turin club are ‘on alert’ and are ‘ready to take action’ to sign him on loan with a buying option.

It’s claimed the Dutchman’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is expected to have a meeting with Manchester United ‘before Christmas’ and this meeting should provide better clarity on the summer signing’s future at Old Trafford.
